Marina Wood

I was born and raised in Northern Ca. I currently live in Reno, Nv. My father was a log truck driver throughout my childhood, later in my adult life I became a Truck driver as well I proudly hold the title of the third generation Truck driver in my Family. I have found that in my 20 years in this industry many drivers are not being taught the tricks of the trade so to speak, and watching freight sit mostly because of weather conditions on Donner Summit because a driver does not have the knowledge and/or tools to do it properly is discouraging to me, so I joined the team about 15 years ago and now have not only learned myself to improve my knowledge and skills but have hope that our industry can thrive once again in transporting goods and doing it safely and in a timely manner.
